VOCA Project Attorney
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Work Hours: Typical work hours are between 8:00–5:00, Monday–Friday, with some flexibility
Location: Nebraska Coalition office, Lincoln, NE
Travel: Statewide and occasional out-of-state travel
Supervisor: Legal Director

The VOCA Project Attorney will work with the Nebraska Coalition’s established legal team and the member programs across Nebraska to provide civil legal representation to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in need of legal services. The VOCA Project Attorney will be responsible to assist survivors with protection orders, custody and divorce, and Title IX, as well as other civil matters impacting safety of survivors. The VOCA Project Attorney will also help survivors communicate with law enforcement and prosecution to ensure the survivors’ victim rights are considered as allowed by law.
Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish; Trial Experience
