Job Summary:
The Prevention Strategist is a member of the Coalition’s Prevention and Community Development Team and works in tandem with other team members to build community capacity to prevent sexual and domestic violence, dating violence, human trafficking, and stalking. The Prevention Strategist will develop and enhance statewide infrastructure and support for programs and partners working to prevent gender-based violence at the local level, including on college campuses. The Prevention Strategist will also work closely with Nebraska’s network of sexual and domestic violence programs across the state to build program capacity in developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive prevention strategies at the local level.
This work requires a strong anti-oppression framework, incorporating prevention, equity, and social change into all efforts.

Interview Process:
The Coalition will review your resume within 30 days of receiving it. If we are interested in your resume, we will contact you to schedule a 30–45 minute screening interview. If you are selected for a second interview and choose to continue in the application process, the Coalition will contact you within two weeks of the screening interview to schedule a second interview. The Coalition is able to offer interviews via phone, online, or in-person, depending on the resources available to you.
Anticipated Start Date:
We are searching for the right candidate for this position, so this position will remain open until filled. The ideal start date for this position is in August 2023, but we are flexible on this timeline.
