BIP Emerge and Principles & Practices

Location: Law Enforcement Center | 111 Public Safety Drive | Grand Island, NE
Description: Registration is open for the upcoming Emerge training and condensed Principles & Practices training. Attending both trainings will meet the requirements established in the Batterer Intervention Program Standards. Space is limited to 30 people and priority will be given to those individuals seeking to start a new program. If you are a start-up program you will also need to establish a working relationship with the local DV provider in your service area and with the local probation district. An MOU with each is required as well as meeting other requirements established in the program standards. Cost: Registration is free. You are responsible for your own transportation, meals and hotel expenses.

FOOD & BEVERAGES
Since this is training is funded by grant funding, we are unable to provide food and beverages. You are responsible for providing your own meals and snacks.

HOTEL
A block of rooms has been set aside for the rate of $94/night (+tax) at the Ramada Downtown in Grand Island for the nights of June 4, 5, and 6. The block will be held until May 5th. To make your room reservation, contact the hotel by calling 308-384-1330 and tell them this is for the Nebraska Coalition block. You will need a credit card to reserve the room and then you will be charged when you arrive.
